To Christopher, Megan and Philip - We love you with all our hearts.
In a house there are two very special items around which the
entire house is built. Then, one day, someone bumps one of them, and it falls
over and breaks. The owner of the house, in pure rage, takes the other item and
smashes it to bits on the floor, runs outside and cries out in anger and sorrow
for his loss.
But, when he looks by his side he sees a man standing there. "What's wrong?" the
man asks. "My very special two items are broken and lost for ever." the owner
says. "I know" the man replied "And I can fix those"
"How?" the owner asked. "Because I made them" the man replied "But I need your
help. Go to work and clean the rest of the house while I work on your two
special items".
So the owner started what he was told to do and before he even realized, he
looked up and the two items were fixed better than what they had ever been.
The house still needs a lot of cleaning, but there is now a purpose and reason for this. Anneline and I are now better than new.
